DAY01: JAYAPURA – ARRIVAL Connect to WAMENA (L,D)
Arrive at Sentani airport of Jayapura, then check in to Trigana for the flight to Wamena, upon arrival transfer to Baliem Pilamo hotel for check in then visit local market. Late afternoon back to hotel and dinner at hotel.
DAY02: WAMENA – SOGOKMO – DAY TREKKING – WAMENA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, by car t to Sogokmo (Yetni) Then start the day trek to Kurima. We will pass some villages on the way make us have a chance to chat with locals in village and if permitted we may enter men’s house and women’s house, lunch will be serve en-route on its time afternoon trek back to yetni and then by car back to Wamena to Baliem Pilamo hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY03: WAMENA – JIWIKA (PIG FEAST) – WAMENA (B,L,D)
After breakfast at hotel by car drive to Jiwika village to enjoy the pig feast, in the afternoon climb up to Mili mountain to see the Dani women making salt in traditional way, late afternoon back to hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY04: WAMENA – JAYAPURA (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel then transfer on its time to airport for the flight back to Jayapura, upon arrival met by the guide then directly sightseeing tour to visit Asei island on the lake of Sentani to see people selling and making bark painting, lunch at a restaurant at the lake side. After lunch visit Loka Budaya University museum to see the Asmat woodcarvings. Then continue to Hamadi market and souvenir shops. Late afternoon drive to Grand Allison hotel for overnight. Dinner at a local restaurant on the seaside.
DAY05: JAYAPURA – NABIRE – KWATISORE (B,L,D)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Sentani airport for your flight to Nabire, arrive in Nabire continue by boat within 2-3 hours to Kwatisore, on the way stop at fisherman BAGAN (fishing boat) to see and swim with the whale sharks, afternoon continue to Kwatisore and check in to the local accommodation
DAY06: KWATISORE (PARADISE BIRD) – WHALESHARK OBSERVATION (B,L,D)
Early in the morning by boat within 20minutes then walk through the mangrove before trek up to a hill to see the bird of Paradise, afterwards by boat back to accommodation. After lunch observe the whaleshark. Late afternoon back to the accommodation.
DAY07: KWATISORE – WHALE SHARK OBSERVATION – NABIRE (B,L,D)
After breakfast preparation for buying small fishes from fisherman platforms or bagans, visit the area of whale shark. Overnight stay at home-stay in the village. Dinner will be provided by local people.
DAY08: NABIRE DEPARTURE (B)
In the morning transfer to airport then depart to the next destination
